Schlegel Electronic Material (SEM) C70 Nickel/Copper EMI gaskets provide the highest value you can find for mid- to high-range shielding applications. That’s because C70 gaskets offer the benefits of a high-quality nickel/copper fabric at a lower price, while meeting the design requirements of demanding applications for telecommunications, servers, and mainframes.

 

SEM C70 gaskets are made with NiCu cladding, which is comprised of a layer of copper topped by a layer of nickel. These metals are plated to a polyester rip-stop fabric, are non-abrasive to plated and painted surfaces, and maintain galvanic compatibility with a wide range of surfaces. Combined with open-celled polyurethane foam, C70 gaskets also offer strong environmental performance.

Shielding Effectiveness: Shielding performance of E66 gasket per MIL-G 83528B in frequencies of 20 MHz to 10 GHz. 96.3 dB for Nickel/Copper C70 Nylon Woven Polyester (average)

 

Note: Gasket geometry and application determine actual shielding effectiveness.

 

Contact Resistance: to SEM LP-3001, Nickel/Copper C70, 0.11 O-inch at 1 Kg load/inch
